"I forgot what a whole day felt like."
A caregiver and the spa owner who gave her one back.
Great Day Family Connection matches family caregivers with local businesses willing to donate one good day. A few hours off. A fresh set of nails. A spa day. Dinner out. Time that belongs to nobody but them.

There is help for the person being cared for. There is almost nothing for the person doing the caring.
If you need a ramp, a wheelchair, a nurse, a program, a form, you can find it. But if you are the daughter, the wife, the sister, the son who has not had a day to yourself in three years, there is no phone number for that.
People will take care of your needs. Nobody asks about your wants.
We do not pay bills and we do not hand out cash. We do something smaller and, for a caregiver, sometimes bigger.
Simple on purpose, because caregivers do not have time for complicated.
A friend, a coworker, a sister, a neighbor fills out the form and tells us who they are, who they care for, and the one thing that would make their week.
A salon, a spa, a restaurant, a cleaning service, a respite care agency donates that service one time. No cost to the caregiver. Ever.
We sit down with both of them on camera. Why she needed it. Why they said yes. That story lives on our channel and does the recruiting for us.
This is not a donation box. You donate the thing you already do well, one time, and we put your name and your face in front of every family that follows us. Giving and receiving, both directions.

Donates one full day package to a caregiver who has not had an hour to herself in years.

Donates four hours of covered care so a caregiver can leave the house without worrying.

Donates a full set. Small thing. Ask any caregiver how long it has been.
A filmed sit-down with you and the caregiver you helped, on our channel, permanently.
Your logo, your story, and a link straight to your business on our partners page.
Recognized from the stage at Fedoras and Fascinators, in front of the whole room.
Caregivers talk to caregivers. This is the referral network you cannot buy an ad in.
Two chairs, two people, one honest conversation. The caregiver tells you what her life actually looks like. The business owner tells you why they said yes. That is the whole show.

One night a year, caregivers put the load down, get dressed all the way up, and get celebrated by name. Hats encouraged. Fascinators strongly encouraged. This is the night the work gets seen.
